Mahmud: Hi Ayman, it’s my pleasure to have this chat with you, I’m sure as you know all your fans all over the world are anxious to hear from you.
Ayman: Thanks halba it’s my pleasure and I’m glad chatting with you and thanks to you and all my fans around the whole world for supporting me.

Mahmud: It’s been like a roller coaster ride for you since you won Super Star competition, how does it feel to be a well known celebrity in the spot light with all this sudden fame?
Ayman: It feels really good and my life is different now than before, but I’m really glad because there’s a lot of people who love and support me is what makes me more happy, in the other hand being famous is a little bit hard but again the people (fans) love and support take all my headaches away, in return my fans get my honest feeling about them through my songs.

Mahmud: When did you start singing, and who got you started?
Ayman: Since I was a little boy I think I was 6 years old, started singing at home then when I turned 7, I sang in Libyan radio, in live shows, in school, in music festivals, and kids television shows. I got started on my own by singing a song that was written by one of Libya’s most famous poem writers Mr. Abd Allah Mansor, the song was a successful one after videotaping it for television in 1992, since that time I started singing in studios and television in Libya.

Mahmud: What singer or singers inspired you the most?
Ayman: There’s a lot of singers I love and inspired by like Mohamad Abdul Wahab, Fairuoz and a lot of other great Arabic singers, also was inspired by several international singers such as American singers Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston and others.

Mahmud: You were studying at the university to become a dentist, was it hard for you to decide on taking a time off from the university and pursue your music career?
Ayman: It was a little bit hard, you know music is always in my blood and attending the University is also important, but Super Star is a chance comes once in a life time, that’s why I’m happy I made the decision to go forward with it. My mom keeps reminding me by saying “Ayman don’t forget your college, you have to finish it (Ayman laughs
